Duckie was founded by a Spencer—an Asheville native and licensed general contractor who discovered how to properly clean the vinyl siding at his own house while pricing out a full siding replacement—because of the state of the dirty vinyl siding—and was so enthusiastic about the transformation and the act of restoring the vinyl siding that he decided to go all in on exterior cleaning.

Spencer personally enjoys the technology involved in professional exterior cleaning: the physics of pressure pumps, detergent siphon injection, organic chemistry, and volumetric calculations.

Spencer also loves the physical act of cleaning—bringing restoration and shine to neglected or weathered exteriors that returns the sense of pride and enjoyment of an outdoor space.
